How Cricket arrived:
Cricket was brought in by their previous owner on 11/15.2025.

Why Cricket is the one for you:
Cricket is a sweet, lively pup who may be a little nervous at first, but once he feels comfortable, his playful personality really shines. In his previous home, he did well with children and was reported to be okay with cats. Cricket can be vocal at times, but his enthusiasm comes from his energetic spirit and love for interaction. Once he's made a friend, he becomes an active, fun-loving companion-especially if tennis balls are involved. With a patient, understanding family, Cricket is sure to blossom into a joyful and devoted companion.

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.
