Sign Adoption Contract
This helps Paws Rescue League Inc - CT with pet care costs.
Meet Pugsley, a ~3 month old male lab/terrier mix puppy! We expect him to grow to a medium/large dog.
Pugsley, his sister Wednesday, and mama Morticia were picked up as strays by animal control in east TN (there was also a third puppy, who was adopted from animal control). This little family spent several days at an overcrowded kill shelter and their stray hold was up, which meant they were at risk of euthanasia Fortunately, we were able to find a foster to take them in, and they were pulled from the shelter in the nick of time.
These cuties will be arriving in CT on 12/13, and we are accepting applications on them now!
Pugsley is a typical happy, playful puppy who loves everyone! Good with dogs, cats, people, and kids. Young puppies are like blank slates who, with proper training and socialization, will grow into wonderful dogs.
He is medically up to date (age appropriate) and working on housebreaking/crate training. Apply to meet this special pup today!

Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs. We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted. As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding!

After processing you application, you will be contacted to schedule a virtual home visit.
Approve Application
After your application is processed and your home visit is done, we will let you know if you are approved to adopt!
Meet the Pet
Once you are approved a meeting will be set up for you to meet with the dog you are interested in.
Sign Adoption Contract
The last step is finalizing the adoption! Sign their contract, pay the adoption fee, and take your furry friend home!
