Here's what the humans have to say about me:
*Molly is in the process of being adopted!*
** Molly can`t go home until December 6th once she`s had her spay surgery; but, she`s worth the wait! **
A little bit about Molly: - no history with kids, all interactions should be supervised - has lived successfully with cats before - no history with dogs, potential for select dog pending successful introduction
Gentle giant Molly is here and she`s ready to steal your heart! This Bernese Mountain Dog–Caucasian Shepherd cross was surrendered to us through no fault of her own and is finding the shelter a bit overwhelming, so she’s looking for a calm, consistent home to call her own.
Molly is a sweetheart through and through: a big, cuddly companion with a slightly goofy streak. She loves to chase her tail, and she loves nothing more than settling in for snuggles after a good play session. Kong toys are a favourite, and brushing time is pure bliss for her (which is great, because her gorgeous, impressive coat will require regular grooming to keep her looking and feeling her best). She has previously lived with cats and may enjoy having a feline friend or two in her forever home with slow, thoughtful introductions.
If you’re looking for a loving, loyal, and delightfully silly companion, Molly might be the perfect match.

From our earliest beginning, Calgary Humane Society was more than a shelter. As Calgary’s first-established animal welfare organization, connecting the lives of animals and people while providing essential animal services to the community remains our central priority.
Today, Calgary Humane Society (CHS) shelters almost 5,000 homeless animals each year. In 1922 we set out to help as many animals as we can and we will continue to do so by fostering the values of respect, compassion, commitment, teamwork, integrity and innovation.
Our mission is to help as many animals as we can.
Our vision is using innovative strategies to lead, inspire, and educate in the humane treatment of companion animals, fostering an enlightened community that consistently demonstrates respect and compassion for all animals.
Our dream is a community where animals are valued, humanely treated, and live enriched lives.
Calgary Humane Society is committed to creating a better tomorrow through education and collaboration.
