Nikita is an almost one year old female Pyrenees mix and a true “gentle giant” who wins hearts the moment you meet her. Laid-back and calm, she is an easy girl to love, with excellent manners and wonderful leash skills that make every walk a joy. It seems clear that she once came from a home where she was loved and cherished, and she receives that same affection at the shelter - yet Nikita is soooo deserving to feel that kind of love all of the time, in a forever home of her own. The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.

The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
