My name is Montie!

Meet Montie! He’s the sweetest little 8 lb, 1.5 year old Chihuahua mix with an underbite. This chill, affectionate guy is happiest when he’s curled up beside his favorite humans, especially on a cold night when he can tuck himself under a cozy blanket and snuggle in close. Montie is doing wonderfully with his potty training and crate training, and he’s working hard on his leash skills. He’s a smart, eager to please nugget who just wants to make his people proud. He’d enjoy a calm home with older dogs who match his laid back vibe. He’s good with other dogs and kids. If you're looking for a gentle, cuddly companion who will happily warm your lap and your heart, Montie might just be your perfect match.

We do not have a facility. All of our animals are in volunteer foster homes. Once an application is pre-approved (contingent upon a home check) we will contact applicants that are a good match and set up a time for a meet. At that time we are happy to answer all of your questions. No inquiries prior to that please. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, examined by a vet, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. We adopt our animals as strictly inside companion pets. We will do a veterinarian reference check and a home safety check. We are located in Omaha, NE and we do not ship our animals. We are all volunteers so please be patient with us. Our requested adoption fees help go towards medical expenses, food, transportation, toys, and other supplies for our animals. We are a state licensed, 501c3 nonprofit rescue and the adoption donation may be tax deductible for you.  Thank you for choosing adoption!!
