My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Meet Katia: Your Future Furry Companion!**

Allow us to introduce you to Katia, a delightful 7-year-old Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix who weighs in at a petite 7 pounds. This dainty little doll has a heart full of love and a spirit just as bright as her fluffy coat. Sadly, Katia was surrendered due to unfortunate family circumstances, but her past has only fueled her desire for a forever home where she can shower her new family with affection.

Katia has been pampered and cared for, which shines through in her delightful personality. She is house-trained, leash-trained, and crate-trained, making her a perfect addition to any household. This sweet girl enjoys the company of other dogs, cats, and children, making her a social butterfly who loves to be around her furry and human friends alike.

Every day with Katia promises to be full of joy, laughter, and countless cuddles. She is ready to embark on new adventures and create beautiful memories with a loving family. Will you be the lucky one to welcome this charming little girl into your home?

Katia's adoption fee is $300~~If you are interested in this animal, you can complete the questionnaire found on the available pets page of our website http://hbpr.org. You can also email homeward@ellijay.com, contact us on facebook at https://www.facebook.com/HBPR30540/ or call 706-698-4663.

More about this rescue

Homeward Bound is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill organization based in Gilmer County, Georgia, which began in August 2000. We are dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for unwanted companion animals, while actively seeking permanent homes through our adoption programs. We take in dogs and cats that are found as strays, owner surrenders and abandoned. We also take animals out of high kill shelters to prevent them from being euthanized. We have rescued and adopted out about 7,000 animals.
