She is an active, athletic girl who loves walks, runs, fetch, tug-of-war, and would thrive with a fenced yard. After burning off energy, she becomes a champion lounger who enjoys attention and sitting nearby. Twyla is smart, knows her basic commands, enjoys training and mental games, is fully crate trained, and completely housebroken. She is also a reliable watchdog who takes her job seriously. Twyla is not comfortable living with other dogs and needs to be the only pet in the home. After working with our vet and observing a consistent reactive pattern, we know she will thrive best as a solo dog in a calm, structured environment. With other pets and a young child in our home, this heartbreaking decision was not taken lightly and is being made to ensure everyone’s safety as well as give Twyla the peaceful life she deserves.
