SWEET, BRAVE, AND LOVES COMPANY. GREAT WITH OTHER CATS, GOOD WITH GENTLE KIDS, AND MAY BE OK WITH A CALM DOG. Once I get to know you, I will eagerly purr for you while you scratch my neck and ears. I love receiving affection and I’m slowly learning that being held isn’t so scary – it’s nice (just in short periods, for now). Right now, the toddler hold or being held to your chest feel safest for me. I’m curious and love to inspect new toys and surrounds before jumping in to play. I enjoy string toys, electric butterfly/floor toys, and cat tunnels. I also love to snuggle with other kittens, so having a buddy in my new home would be really good for me. I’d also really like to have a soft bed and a cat tree if possible. It may take a little time for me to warm up to you, but once I do, I’m an absolute sweetheart!

The Colony Animal Services strives to protect andTCAS LOGO-UPDATED nurture The City of The Colony’s lost, homeless, abused, injured, and sick pets. We seek to provide animals the opportunity to be reclaimed, adopted, rehabilitated, or rescued. It is the mission for the Animal Service Officers and volunteers to pursue a positive synergy and to serve the citizens and pets of The Colony.
Animal Services is committed to saving each and every animal that comes into our care. Over the last few years, we have improved our live release rate to 97%. We hold our standards high at keeping this percentage, and in doing so, we ask our rescue partners and citizens to help us pursue finding our animals forever homes.
Every year, we get over a hundred injured and sick animals that need our help. In order for us to help them, we use our donated medical fund to give them the proper care and treatment they need. The only way for us to provide this needed medical care is through our generous financial donors. Every penny donated is sent to our medical fund. Please help us continue this much needed medical care for our animals by donating. Even if you cannot donate, it is a huge help to share posts on social media.
