His name is Archer, but we call him Archie! He has been a foster here at Buddy's House for almost 4 months now. No one has given him a chance at adoption but we are hopeful he'll find the perfect family soon! He is a 4 year old 50lb Australian Cattle dog mix. He's up to date on all his vaccines and is neutered. Archie was rescued from Roswell NM in a kill-shelter and made the journey here.
Archie has come a long way since being with us. Initially he was weary of new people and nervous. Now, he's a love bug! He loves other dogs and enjoys playing. He would do okay in a home with older children. He has a big personality and can take a second to warm up. But, once he knows you, he will be your absolute best bud! He loves to roll around in the grass, cuddle on the couch, get pets, and play ball! He's house trained, knows how to use a dog door, good on leash, and good in the car. Home Check
We are required to conduct a home check. These can be done virtually or in person before you can be approved to adopt.

Approve Application
Once your application is approved and a home check has been done, we will reach out to set up a time to take your pup home!

We foster for the Pet Association of Estes Park, so we follow their adoption guidelines. They have a short 2-page adoption application that we ask you to fill out, we will also conduct a home check as well.

Buddy's House is a nonprofit organization located in Loveland Colorado. We work directly with the Pet Association of Estes Park. We take in some of the dogs they rescue as fosters and help them find their forever families. Our mission is to give all dogs that come our way a second chance at life.
