My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Confused Casserole — our sweet little comfort dish in a fluffy grey-and-white package.
She’s a 9-year-old, spayed female, Domestic Short hair Cat who came to us after her beloved owner passed away, and heartbreakingly, no family members were able to take her in.

At first, Confused Casserole wasn’t quite sure what had happened or who we were — she spent her early days tucked tightly under her blanket, peeking out with big “uh oh… new people” eyes. But once she realized hands can give pets, and pets can lead to purrs, she started to thaw like a microwave meal on “defrost.”

Now she wants attention but is still a little unsure about how to ask for it. She’ll hide under her blanket like a shy little dumpling, but the SECOND you reach in for gentle pets, she melts into a puddle of purrs, happy chirps, and enthusiastic butt scritches.

Confused Casserole is looking for a calm home, a soft blanket fort, and a human who understands that sometimes love takes a second… but oh, is it worth it.
If you’ve got patience, kindness, and a warm lap, she’ll bring the comfort.

She is available for adoption now! Her adoption fee has been waived!
