My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Stella! I love exploring every nook and cranny of my surroundings, always curious about what's around the corner. Playing fetch is my favorite game, and I'm always ready for a cuddle session after a fun day. I'm loyal to my friends here, but I dream of a forever home where I can share all my love and playful spirit. If you're looking for a sweet, friendly companion to share in all of life's adventures, I'm your girl! Let's start our journey together.

More about this shelter

Founded in 1913 by a passionate group of Tulsa citizens, the Tulsa SPCA began with a mission to protect vulnerable animals—from homeless cats and dogs to overworked draft animals in farms, mines, and oil fields. More than a century later, that same spirit of compassion still drives everything we do.

Our mission is simple but powerful: to improve the lives of dogs and cats, and to inspire our community to join us in building a world where people and animals thrive together.

We believe every animal deserves to feel safe, loved, and cared for. At our shelter, we provide a safe haven and medical care for pets in need, and we work tirelessly to match them with forever homes where they’ll be cherished for a lifetime.
