My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Dobby, the sweetest little house-elf of your heart! 🐾💛

This gentle, snuggly boy is all about spreading joy—whether he’s curling up beside you for a cuddle or trotting proudly by your side on his daily walks (he’s a total gentleman on the leash!). Dobby loves making new friends and has already shown he can play politely and happily with another dog here at the shelter.

He’s friendly, he’s calm, he’s charming… basically, he’s the dog version of a warm cup of tea on a rainy day. ☕🐶

If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will adore you endlessly and maybe steal your socks—but only so he can nap with them—Dobby is your guy. Come meet him and let the magic begin! ✨💙

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We ask potential adopters to fill out a matchmaker form. When they are ready to adopt an animal and the form and interview process indicates a good match, we have the adopter sign an adoption contract promising that the animal will receive good physical and emotional care. Fees vary and we often have adoption specials. Fees for senior pets are sponsored. Otherwise, dogs are $100, puppies $150 and up, cats are $75, kittens are $95.
