Hi, I’m Dexter, and today was a big day for me! My field trip buddy came to pick me up, and I was a little nervous to get into the car. Everything felt so new and kind of scary, but I was brave and got in anyway. I was still a bit nervous during the ride, but I did my best to stay calm.
When we got to our destination, my new friend took me for a walk. There were so many sights and sounds, and I felt a little anxious with everything going on. But my buddy was patient with me, and that helped a lot. After our walk, I got to play with my toys — my favorite part! I even showed off my best skill… kissing! 💋
I think I did awesome on leash today. I have some energy, but I also really like to snuggle. My favorite things are being with humans, cuddling close, and giving lots of kisses.
The funniest part of my day? When my friend filled my water bowl and I decided to pick it up myself — and spilled water everywhere! Oops! We both laughed, and I wagged my tail to show it was all in good fun.
I didn’t see any dogs, cats, or kids today, but I did meet a few new people. At first, I stopped and stared — I like to check things out before I say hello — but then I moved on like a pro.
If I had to describe myself, I’d say I’m happy, gentle, and affectionate. I might seem shy when you first meet me, but give me a little time and I’ll warm right up.
My favorite part of the day was definitely playing with my toys and cuddling with my new friend. I’d give my whole field trip a 10 out of 10! There’s nothing I’d change — it was such a fun and special day.
Thanks for spending time with me — I can’t wait for my next adventure! 💛
