The first step is to browse our website and identify a dog you feel would be a great match for you. Once you’ve made your choice, please complete our online application. After receiving your application, we will review it and reach out with the next steps.
These steps may include a visit to our facility to meet the dog. Depending on the situation, a home visit may also be arranged. Our goal is to prioritize the happiness and safety of both our adopters and the dogs entrusted to our care.

At 8Acre K9 Rescue and Rehabilitation Inc., we are a passionate non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of dogs in need. After working at a local shelter and witnessing the heartbreaking plight of so many vulnerable dogs, I knew I had to take action. I decided to open my own rescue to offer a lifeline to those who need it most—the ones most at risk of being overlooked, those facing the heartbreaking threat of euthanasia. My mission is to get to know each of these precious souls, to shower them with love and care; finding them the perfect human companion who will cherish them forever. Through our website, we strive to raise funds, recruit volunteers, raise awareness, and offer opportunities for donations to support our cause
