Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet this adorable 6-month-old Shih Tzu/yorkie boy, a black-and-white sweetheart with a gentle spirit and a soft, soulful way of taking in the world. He’s a bit shy when meeting new people or exploring new places, but you can see his curiosity peek through as he quietly observes everything around him.
Once he feels safe, his true personality blossoms — sweet, cuddly, and incredibly affectionate with the people he trusts. He’s not a big fan of being picked up, preferring to keep all four paws on the ground while he gets to know you at his own pace. He’s also not your typical bouncy, extroverted puppy; instead, he’s a calmer, more sensitive little guy who thrives in a relaxed environment.
If you’re looking for a soft-hearted companion who gives the sweetest snuggles once he feels secure, this little Shih Tzu may be your perfect match.
Since many of our adoptable dogs are in foster homes, appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt!
Our adoption fees include the following: all of our dogs/puppies are current on vaccinations (DHPP and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, heartworm tested and current on preventative, microchipped, treated for fleas/ticks and are spayed or neutered. Our large dog adoption fee is generally $175 + tax. Our small dog and puppy adoption fee is generally $275+ tax. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Due to space limitations, we do not hold dogs.
Because we are on a busy street, we require that all dogs leaving the shelter be in a carrier or on leash. All pets remain up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee paid.
