Xaden was originally adopted from us as a puppy a couple years ago. From the sounds of it, Xaden had been rehomed a couple times since being adopted so sadly, when he was brought to us as a stray recently, we had no luck getting in contact with his owner. Xaden is a sweet and shy boy. He wants nothing more than to trust you and be loved but needs a moment to warm up to new people. We do not have any background information on Xaden’s behavior in his previous home, so we are unsure if he has lived with other animals or children. In the shelter, Xaden has been friendly towards other dogs and approaches with a friendly demeanor! He always looks unsure of how he is supposed to get other dogs to play with him, but certainly tries his best! Xaden may enjoy having a nice friend in his new home. We can always provide a dog meet and greet prior to adopting if needed! He has been curious and sweet to the couple of kittens he has seen here. Of course, we encourage slow introductions! Xaden is playful and would thrive best with having a positive outlet for his energy. He enjoys going on walks and loves sniffing through the snow! When Xaden is excited, he has the cutest little wiggles. Xaden has a submissive personality and loves love. Xaden appears to be potty trained, walks great on a leash and knows the cues “sit”, “down” and “wait”. Xaden is such a sweet boy who deserves the very best. If you feel that your home would be a good fit for Xaden, we would love for you to come by and meet him!
