My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Emerson has come so far! From the streets of Helena, Arkansas. Arriving with her poor body hairless, covered with mange and fungus, having been shot by pellet gun. After months of nursing and vet care this loving girl is ready for her new forever home. After all of that Emerson has a heart of gold. She loves people and dogs, has not been around cats. Emerson will excel in a family with or without children, just needs walks and attention. She is housetrained, knows commans; kennel, off, sit, wait and load up. She doesn't like shouting and still tends to cower if people are arguing.

More about this rescue

Little Orphan's members are dedicated to the well-being of all animals we encounter. Dismayed by the numbers of cats and dogs housed in shelters and euthanized each and every year, we have an active spay/neuter assistance program and ensure as best we can that each animal adopted through our program has truly found a "forever" home.
