My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🏡 Looking for a "Grumpy Old Man" to Love? Meet Pepe! 🐾 (Las Vegas)
Tired of high-energy puppies? Need a distinguished gentleman for your cozy home? Then skip the rest—Pepe is your perfect match!
This handsome, 15-year-old senior is ready to trade his bumpy past for a comfortable "retirement" home right here in Las Vegas.
✨ Pepe's Personality: Distinguished, Spry, and Affectionate
The Vibe: Think of your favorite classic film character—a little bit of a "Grumpy Old Man," maybe a dash of The Grinch's soft heart!
His Routine: He loves his naps, enjoys ambling leisurely around the house and yard, and is remarkably spry for his age!
His Love Language: While he's NOT a snuggle-bug, he deeply craves connection. He'll come right up and nudge your hand for attention, offers sweet love licks, and absolutely melts for ear scratches.
Companions: Pepe would thrive as an only companion or possibly with one other calm dog. He generally keeps to himself and is not looking to join a pack.
💖 A Lifetime of Love to Give
Pepe has had a rough journey, but he is resilient. He's a survivor who simply wants a calm, predictable home where he can be spoiled with love and attention in his golden years.
⚠️ Important Things to Know:
Mobility: Pepe has some arthritis (bloodwork confirmed no other major issues in Spring 2025!) and does not use stairs. Please be gentle when handling him—picking him up around his shoulder can cause him pain.
House Training: He is NOT fully potty trained and requires a belly band changed twice daily. This is a non-negotiable part of his daily care.
Diet: He is a self-proclaimed picky eater, but a dog with a clear opinion is often the most interesting!
Is your heart big enough for a little grumpy gentleman who will look at you with the biggest, brownest, most grateful eyes?
Pepe is ready to spend his best years with YOU!

NO HOUSEHOLDS WITH SMALL CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 8 due to size.

Schedule:
First Potty Time - 7 AM (his diaper comes off and he goes in the yard and has some playtime)
Breakfast 7:30 - 8 AM
Snack time 1:00 PM
Dinner/Potty Time - 6 PM (same as above)
Last Potty Break: 9 PM
His Daily Supplements:
Turkey Tail Holistic Immune Support (1 bag provided, which will last for quite a while)
Multivitamin with Probiotics (daily) - this helps keep the digestive system in good working order
Caniclean - Seaweed for Dogs Teeth - Dog Tartar Removal Tool, Plaque Remover, and Breath Freshener - Get Plaque Off Dogs Teeth Naturally.

More about this rescue

Our goal is to provide quality animal welfare and rescue for Pomeranians who have been abandoned in shelters or do not have homes. The focus of the Pom Palace Dog Rescue is to help older and handicapped Poms and Pom mixes return to health and become adoptable. A Pomeranian can live up to 18 years of age and many are abandoned at an age that many people consider old. But in reality they have can live long and rewarding lives and enrich their owners lives for many years.
