Hi, my name is Wave!
I may be a tiny girl, but I have a huge heart and I'm the biggest cuddle bug you'll ever meet. My favorite thing in the whole world is snuggling up with my people. Forget what you think you know about Chihuahuas; I'm sweet and gentle, not spicy at all!
Most of the day, you'll find me curled up in a comfy spot, but I do get little bursts of energy where I'll jump around and wag my tail with excitement. I also love to play with the puppy in my foster home for about 15 minutes a day! Going for walks is another favorite—I’ve even joined my fur friends on 1-mile walks (but I really enjoy relaxing in my carrying bag too).
I came from a home with lots of other dogs, so now I'm really enjoying getting all the one-on-one attention and belly rubs I can get. I'm happy to go wherever you go, especially if I can be tucked into my carrying bag for the ride. I make the perfect travel companion, whether curled up in your lap or sitting in the seat beside you.
I'm housebroken and crate trained, but I have to admit, I prefer being with you over being in my crate. I get along with my foster dog siblings, but I do ask that new friends aren't too pushy, as I like my space. The cat in my foster home is a little scary, so I mostly keep my distance, but sometimes I work up the courage to bark at him—though I'm still curious and kind in my own gentle way. I'm also not a fan of the cold or snow—I'd much rather use a potty pad inside than get my paws cold!
