Chestnut is an 18-month-old chocolate Lab mix who weighs under 50 pounds. From the moment you meet him, it’s clear he once lived in a home where he was truly loved. He’s gentle, well-mannered, and has the kind of easygoing personality that makes him instantly lovable.
Chestnut was found as a stray and sadly never reclaimed, but his behavior speaks volumes—this boy knows what it means to be a family dog. He iis active but NOT overly so like if his breed!
Chestnut just wants to be involved with what is going on, and he carries himself with a polite, steady confidence.
He’s wonderfully social and does great with other dogs and every person he meets. (Cats remain unknown.) Chestnut is also impressively trained for a young dog: he goes to the door when he needs to go out, offers his paw like a gentleman, and knows “sit” and “down.” On the leash, he’s a dream—easy, attentive, and happy to walk right by your side.
If you’re looking for a loving, loyal companion who already knows how to be part of a home, Chestnut is ready to melt your heart.
UTD on shots, preventatives and neuter, Chestnut is ready to add to your upcoming celebrations.
