This lovely girl is on the shy side and takes a little time to feel comfortable with new people. While we don’t know much about her previous home, we can see she has a gentle heart and wants to trust. She’d do best with a patient adopter who can offer a calm environment and help her come out of her shell.

All adoptions are handled on a first-come, first-served basis at our Adoption Center, located at 1348 Parker Drive. No appointment is needed to meet your future furry friend! Hours: Sunday-Thursday 11 a.m.-5 p.m., Friday 11 a.m.-7 p.m., and Saturday 11 a.m.-6 p.m.

We do same day adoptions. Adoptions are first-come, first-serve. Bring valid ID, and payment. We do not place animals on hold.

The Humane Society of Charlotte believes in working to improve our community by creating new, loving families, and building a world where there are no more homeless and unwanted animals. This is an ongoing process — for every animal we can connect with a new family, another animal in need comes to HSC’s shelter. As a private, 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the HSC relies on the generous support of animal lovers, grants, bequests, and fees for service.

HSC is not affiliated with any other animal welfare organizations and we do not receive government funding.
