Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Benji!
Benji is a little timid at first but if you go slow and respect his space, he warms up and learns to trust. Benji is silly, playful, and energetic once he feels safe. He loves to snuggle with his people and thrives with soft petting and gentle words. Benji is dog selective and would do best with dogs his size or larger. He would prefer a quiet home with teens+ or adult only.
**if you are interested in Benji, please complete an adopter's profile at parl.org and come in during our open hours**

The first step in our adoption process is to submit an adopter profile through our website. We then encourage you to visit PARL at 34 Elbow Street and get to know the animals we have available. You do not need an appointment, and we invite you to visit us often. PARL’s goal is to assist you in finding your best match for a lifelong companion.
When you arrive, you’ll sign PARL’s visitor log, and staff will direct you to PARL’s cat rooms, small animal spaces, or dog kennels (depending on your preference.) We encourage you to spend time outside with the dogs, or petting our cats and small animals. Please ask questions -- that's why we're here.
If you don't find what you are looking for the first time, please come see us again! Chances are that we will have some new furry friends available for adoption, and one of them might be purr-fect for you!
