My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Athena’s story is one of resilience and hope.
She came to us from a neglectful situation; skinny, scared, and unsure of the world. But even in those first fragile moments, her gentle sweetness still shined through. With the patience and love of our incredible animal care team, Athena has blossomed into a playful, affectionate girl who is now ready for her fresh start. Athena will need a family who understands that her past wasn’t kind to her. She may need time and guidance as she learns what it means to be a cherished house dog. But she has already come so far, and with a patient, loving home, she’s ready to take the next step. If you’re looking for a companion who will love you with her whole heart, grow with you, and remind you every day what second chances are all about, Athena is waiting.
