Bob is ready for his forever home.
Bob is a member of the Dylan litter. This was a unique litter that was initially slow to warm up and preferred to focus on only 1 person. His Mama and littermates mates have all moved into their forever homes and are doing great.
Bob is neutered and up to date on shots.
Bob is a parvo survivor which will not impact his future health. A tragic accident happened in the home of his foster and he ran up behind another dog when there was chaos in the neighbor's yard. The family dog turned around and snapped at him damaging his eye. Decision was made to remove the eye rather that attemp to repair to avoid any additional expenses for a potential adopter as he ages. ( Dog in picture is not the dog that snapped at him. Dog pictured is a 6 mo pitt mix that Bob loved. Bob has done so much better with his foster parents once his friend left.)
Bob needs a very specific forever home:
- No children
- Only dog so that he will bond with his people rather than the dog. Play dates with other dogs would be great.
-Adopter needs to understand that he may be a one person dog
-Bob sleeps quietly in his crate at night. However, most nights he does urinate. When he urinates he aims out of the crate. He is currently in a crate with solid sides, which is extremely manageable.
-Bob is doing great with potty training during the day and scheduled breaks and preferred treats.
-Bob was initially terrified of his foster parents and now crawls up on his foster mom for pets and check-ins
-Bob loves his toys and when his foster parents play with him.
-Bob is a 'diamond in the rough' and will be a great companion for the right person. He just needs time to warm up and assurance he is in a safe place.
