My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MEET ME IN NORTHAMPTON, MA. I JUST MOVED HERE!

Howdy Doody, I’m Grayson, a very handsome charcoal-gray Pit Bull mix with gorgeous silver-blue eyes and a happy spirit. I am about 11 months old, weigh 45 lbs, and was roaming the streets of San Antonio with an older dog friend. When a nice lady pulled up and invited us over, we took her up on the offer, and she became our foster mom for 4 Little Paws Rescue. Recently, my dog friend was adopted, so now it's my turn to find a forever family. I am neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and not to toot my own horn, but I'm also a total looker!

My foster mom wants you to know that I’m a really nice boy who gets along with everyone right from the start, with no shyness at all. I play very appropriately while matching energy levels with my dog friends, being especially gentle with the senior dogs, and I am even good with kitty cats. I’m confident, social, sweet, and affectionate with my people, and I will follow you everywhere. I love walks and car rides, walk well on a leash, and I don't mind wearing booties for snow or trail walks (see my video). I’m well-behaved, housebroken, and I know how to use a doggy door. Now that I’ve moved to Massachusetts, you can come by and meet me. Just be ready to fall in love and take me home!

* 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.

Additional adoption info

Please DO NOT apply unless the entire family / household is on board with adopting one of our dogs. We must receive an application for you to move forward in the process. Thoughtful direct emails are welcome and will be answered. However, an application is still a necessary step. We want to make sure we find our dogs a perfect fit with a family so both the dog and the family are happy. We keep our dogs with fosters once we get them out of shelters for a little bit to learn and understand their personalities. Our relationship with families doesn't stop at adoption! We are always available for any follow up questions and are happy to be a resource as you and your new pet settle into a routine.
