Goldie was brought in by a community member on November 17, 2025./p>

Meet Goldie! She's a sweet, friendly girl who enjoys walks but also loves gentle affection. She walks well on leash after a quick moment of excitement and is very house-trained and non-destructive. Goldie loves people, bonds quickly, and is always happy to make new human friends. Goldie is currently being treated for TVT, a type of cancer that is considered curable, but will require ongoing treatment. She will need to avoid dog interactions while she heals, but our medical team will guide you through everything. Come meet Goldie today, her gentle, loving nature is sure to win you over!

Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized.
