This helps San Diego Humane Society - Oceanside Campus (Cats and Small Animals) with pet care costs.
How this pet arrived:
Duke was brought in by his previous owner on October 26, 2025.
Why this pet is the one for you:
Some duos just make sense - peanut butter and jelly, coffee and mornings... and Bella #972520 and Duke #972522. This seasoned pair has perfected the art of the slow life. They move through the day with unhurried grace: a stretch here, a snack there, and a perfectly timed nap right when the sunlight hits just right. Bella will be the first to greet you, nudging your hand for a pet or two, while Duke takes his time - a thoughtful observer who decides on his own schedule if you make the trust cut. They've shared every meal, nap, and window seat for years, and now they're looking for a new spot to keep their routine rolling. Duke recently had right femoral head and neck ostectomy (FHO) surgery on 12/4/25. His new family will need to monitor his incision and prevent licking or scratching with an E-collar until fully healed. Follow-up with your regular veterinarian is important, and future surgeries or medications may be needed to manage his condition. He also has mild chronic kidney disease, which is very common for his age. Both kitties are working on putting a little more fluff on their frames and will need a dental cleaning in the future, but otherwise their agenda is simple: chill, snack, repeat. If you're ready for twice the purrs, twice the snuggles, and a bonded pair that brings double the heart, don't forget two secure carriers when you come to adopt them!
