My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Enid — the Little Border Collie Mix With the Biggest Heart
Female • 3-4 month old • Border Collie mix •

Enid is a gentle, loving sweetheart who is finally getting to experience what it feels like to be safe, cared for, and adored. Now she’s ready to take the next step: finding her forever family.

From the moment you meet her, Enid melts right into you. She adores people of all ages—kids, adults, seniors, men, women… she loves everyone. Her favorite place in the world is on a warm lap, soaking up cuddles or chewing a toy while snuggled in close. She’s incredibly affectionate and happiest when she’s with her humans.

What Enid Loves:
• Playing outside—especially chasing leaves and doing zoomies
• Snuggles, belly rubs, and being held
• Chasing balls and playing with toys
• Treats (she’s very treat-motivated!)
• Playing with other dogs—she would LOVE a canine best friend
• Meeting new people and making new friends

Her Puppy Talents:
• Puppy-pad trained and sleeps through the night in her crate
• Learning leash walking (doing great practicing in the yard!)
• Not a big barker
• No resource guarding, no “bad” behaviors
• Travels fine on short trips
• Working on “stay” and learning “sit”

Enid’s Personality:
Enid is curious, social, joyful, and incredibly sweet. She loves to explore, greet new friends, play ball, and curl up on your lap immediately afterward. She’s playful and energetic like any happy puppy, but she also settles beautifully for cuddles and quiet time. She has no noted fears, no sensitivities, and no dislikes—she’s simply a happy, loving girl eager to belong to someone.

Her Dream Home:
Enid would thrive with:
• Another playful dog (preferred but not required)
• Kids to run and cuddle with
• A family home most of the day—she loves attention
• A fenced yard (preferred)
• A home or apartment where she gets plenty of exercise and playtime
She’s a wonderfully adaptable puppy who just wants love, play, and companionship.

Enid has come such a long way from rough beginnings, and she is so ready to experience the life she deserves. If you’re looking for the sweetest, silliest, most lovable little companion—Enid will fill your home with joy every single day.

She is up to date on vaccines and microchipped. A spay deposit is required for adoption.

Go meet their pets

Our rescues are with fosters on the east coast. The location in which the foster resides should be listed with each profile.

We are setting up some adoption events now, but are free for private meet and greets if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets!

More about this rescue

We have a passion for senior animals. To be able to save an animal from dying alone in a shelter, to give it a chance to live out its last days/months/years in a home with the proper care and love it deserves, instead of a cold shelter, is what drives us to keep going.

We obviously have financial needs that come with rescuing senior dogs, so we will be rescuing puppies and younger dogs as well so we are able to care for our seniors.
