My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Daisy: A Sweet Soul Ready to Blossom 🌷

Meet Daisy, a beautiful girl who is looking for a patient and understanding home to help her truly blossom! Daisy is incredibly sweet once she builds trust, but she has a shy and sensitive side that needs gentle handling. While she may be nervous in new situations, she is highly motivated by treats and warms up to calm, soft-spoken people who give her space to approach.

Daisy is currently doing well in care and has shown wonderful progress, learning to accept necessary handling with the help of her devoted care team. She has the potential to live with other dogs (with proper, slow introductions), but she will need a quiet home environment that understands the needs of a timid dog. Due to her sensitivities, Daisy requires a home without children under eight years old.

If you are an experienced dog owner with a calm household, ready to provide the patience and positive reinforcement Daisy needs to feel safe and confident, she will reward you with a lifetime of love and loyalty!

Daisy has currently gone into foster here is what her new foster family says about her!

Daisy is doing well in foster
Once she's in a home she calms right down with good long walks she has much less anxiety
She know sit, down, heel (with lots of reminders) and is crate trained and slept the night in there
She likes the water
She's a bit jumpy and mouthy when she's affectionate but responds well to calm correction .. she means no harm she's just exuberant
She's a bit Velcro-y but gets along well with both my teenager and my husband

She's a peach of a dog - she'll make someone very happy
