My name is Kelly and I’m looking for a forever home!
I came from an accidental litter, and when my previous owners could no longer care for me, they reached out for rescue help so I wouldn’t end up in a scary shelter. A kind volunteer stepped in and brought me to BCAA, and now I’m ready for my happily-ever-after.
My mom was a Lab–Golden mix, but no one knows what my dad was, so I’m a perfect little mystery mix! I’m about 10 months old and currently a bit under 23 pounds. I should stay on the smaller side — probably under 30 pounds. I also have a super cute little nub tail that never stops wiggling!
I’m an energetic, happy girl who loves attention and playtime. I might be a bit too much for very young kids, but older children should be just fine. I enjoy playing with other dogs and have only shown mild curiosity toward cats.
I’ve done great in my crate without any accidents and haven’t chewed up my bedding — though I’d always prefer to be out hanging with you. I’m learning how to walk on a leash and getting better every day. With a little more practice (and treats, which I love!), I’ll pick it up quickly because I really want to please.
