Meet Winston— The Almost Champion!

Winston is a 2-year-old, 43 pound, American Foxhound and proud holder of the highly prestigious title:
â Reserve Champion at Thanksgiving Best of Show — in his dreams… or so he claims.
Was he actually in the ring? No.
Does he believe he should have been? Absolutely.
When he struts across the yard or around your living room, it’s with the confidence of a dog who has accepted second place to no one. If you are interested in adopting Winston, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.
**Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
