My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Megan is an adorable 2 year old black and white Husky mix with beautiful chocolate colored eyes! She was spayed on 12/9/2025 and is up to date on all shots and completely vetted and healthy! She loves play time with any squeaky toy and will keep you entertained for hours with her silly antics, and hilarious facial expressions! She is available for adoption as of 12/10/2025.. She loves to play with the other dogs at our rescue and has started to obey basic commands such as "sit", "stay" and "give me howdy" and would be a great addition to any family! She has played with kids and was very gentle and is just eager to please and receive praises! She is crate trained and we are slowly working on her house training and she is well on her way to being the perfect pup!

We are a private run facility supported by public donations. The first step to adopt is to submit an application on richardsonrescue.org. We review them everyday, except for Sunday (Great customer service is our goal). Once your application is approved, you may then call for an appointment.

VISITS ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY WITH AN APPROVED APPLICATION.

More about this rescue

Nestled in twelve acres of country and woods is a place for animals that are hardest to help, BIGGER dogs, abused pets and puppy mill dogs. They need more time, more space and more love than many full rescues can provide. Their adoptions sometimes take months, but they get the room and attention that they need to get back on all four feet. The problem.... not many people are willing to give them a chance. We also offer low cost spay and neutering when funding allows.
