Howdy from Texas! I am an amazing little male Chihuahua mix named Freddy. I am about 1-½ years old and weigh 13.4 lbs. I was found tied to a pole at a bus stop along a busy street in San Antonio. I was terrified and confused, and the family who saved me could not locate my owner. They were planning to surrender me to a shelter, but I was so amazing (their words!), they decided to foster me and find me a new family through 4 Little Paws Rescue! I am now neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, feeling happy and having fun, so I’m ready to go!
I am a friendly, go-with-the-flow, medium-energy boy, friendly with everyone, including kids and strangers, and other dogs. I play very well with children, and because all the resident dogs are big, I am having fun and can hold my own as we play rough-and-tumble. I love all doggy toys, especially the soft plushy ones, so I can rip them apart and play a good game of tug-of-war. I am extremely affectionate, very snuggly, not embarrassed to share kisses, and make a wonderful lap dog. I enjoy following my people around the house, am well-behaved, and already housebroken. I only bark if I need to alert you, and I am not afraid of thunderstorms or loud noises. As you can see by my pictures, I am very well-rounded, ready, willing, and able to enjoy life, go on adventures, romp through the snow, and even help you cook in the kitchen! I’m one of a kind, and I know my future looks amazing! Inquire about me today!
* 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.

Please DO NOT apply unless the entire family / household is on board with adopting one of our dogs. We must receive an application for you to move forward in the process. Thoughtful direct emails are welcome and will be answered. However, an application is still a necessary step. We want to make sure we find our dogs a perfect fit with a family so both the dog and the family are happy. We keep our dogs with fosters once we get them out of shelters for a little bit to learn and understand their personalities. Our relationship with families doesn't stop at adoption! We are always available for any follow up questions and are happy to be a resource as you and your new pet settle into a routine.
