This little lady was taken in by a kind person in Bloomfield Hills with her babies. Momma Fifi is very sweet and calm. Her babies have found homes with another rescue and now it's Fifi's turn to get the life she deserves. Please stop by the shelter and meet this sweetie. Catfé Lounge is open 12-5 Wednesday - Sunday.

Submit Application

Once you submit an application, one of our dedicated adoption volunteer coordinators will contact you.

2.
Meet the Pet

Some of our kitties are in foster homes and about 40 are at our shelter. So be patient! We may have to schedule a visit at a foster home.

3.
Approve Application

The volunteer adoption coordinator will call your veterinary reference and your personal references. Video home visit too!

At any given time, Ferndale Cat Shelter has at least 150-250 cats and kittens in our care. Most of those kitties are in foster homes while 40-50 may be at our shelter. We love to make the purrfect match for you so you and your kitty will live long and healthy lives together.
