Slingshot - A Work in Progress With a Big Future
Slingshot is a young, unsocialized kitten who's still learning that people can be safe. He arrived at the shelter with very little experience around humans, and right now he prefers to keep his distance and observe the world from a quiet corner. He's taking everything in at his own pace.
With time, patience, and a calm environment, Slingshot has the potential to grow into a more confident companion. He'll do best with someone who understands that progress for cats like him comes in tiny steps: a blink, a relaxed tail, a moment of curiosity. Each one is a victory.
Slingshot would thrive in a home that can offer:
A dedicated safe space where he can decompress
A predictable routine and gentle, consistent interactions
A quiet family willing to celebrate slow, steady progress
Experience with shy or semi‑feral cats (or a willingness to learn)
