We transport dogs and cats as a partner rescue with Project Freedom Ride to the PNW, Midwest and NE
Adoption steps
- Submit Application
- Interview
- For Project Freedom RIde (see at facebook.com/projectfreedomride) we do a video call and visit with adopters and see where the pet will live
- Approve Application
- Calls are made to veterinarian adopter uses (if one estabilished) and References contacted
- Sign Adoption Contract
- Adoption contract is emailed in Jotform then adoption fee is paid. Transport fee is included in the adoption fee.
Go meet their pets
Our pets are located in Levelland, Texas with foster families. Once the dog or cat is adopted, they will be transported by Project Freedom Ride to a Transport location. The pets will meet state requirements Project Freedom Ride requirements for transport as well as have a current Health Certificate before boarding the transport vehicle in Texas.

Levelland Animal Friends was founded in January 2014. We are a very small volunteer based rescue in Levelland, TX (located 30 miles west of Lubbock, TX) Levelland Animal Friends works to rehome dogs brought into the City of Levelland Animal Shelter that are not reclaimed. We also provide medical care for wounded or ill animals in our foster homes that are from our shelter or the community. Once they are healthy, we work to rehome these pets. We are a partner rescue with Project Freedom Ride and have monthly transport to the PNW, Midwest and NE.
