Smokey has just entered our rescue. His owner needed to give him up due to her illness. Smokey is a purebred, salt-n-pepper miniature schnauzer who is about 10 years old. He has a great personality and loves attention.
Smokey is looking for a retirement home to relax in! He would love to keep company with his friend Dixie, but is open to moving into a place of his own!

FAQ's
Adoption donations are $150 for mixed dogs, $200 for purebreds and puppies. Donations are tax deductible and help with the vet expenses including but not limited to :
*spayed/neutered
*heartworm tested, treated if need be, placed on monthly preventative
*internal parasite treatment if necessary
*flea treament if necessary, placed on monthly preventative
*vaccinations
*microchip
Adoptions out of the area are permitted. A volunteer from another rescue in your area may be contacted to help with the homevisit. Animals will not be shipped or transported; the approved adopter must arrange to pick up their new family member.
Foster to Adopt is a 2 week program to help everyone find the best matched pet. Approved adopters may take home a pet for 2 weeks for a non-refundable donation of $25. Should you choose to keep the pet, the $25 will go towards the adoption donation. This program is only open to adopters within a three hour drive of Take 2 Rescue.
