My name is Josie!

Hi! Im Josie, the superhero cat of the shelter. My adventure began when I bravely saved a group of kittens from a tricky maze of alleyways. With my super whiskers, I guided them safely to their momma, but in the process I got lost and ended up at a house with big, aggressive dogs. Yikes, fortunately a kind person brought me to Paws Animal Shelter so I could find a forever home. Im gentle, friendly, and love a good play session. If you need a hero to add joy and adventure to your life, Im your cat!

Note from Paws human: Josie had a circuitous journey to Paws Animal Shelter. When she showed up at the house with the aggressive dogs, they contacted a TNR (trap, neuter, return) group in another county. They in turn called Paws to see if we had room for this sweet, brave cat. Fortunately we were able to squeeze her in, as she really is a sweet, loving cat who would be a wonderful addition to any family (that doesn't have big ferocious dogs that is!).
