Hey there, I’m Gloria, but everyone just calls me Mama!
I’m a pretty Retriever mix that just brought eight little hunky babies into the world. Being a mama is the best job ever, but I’ve gotta admit, I like to keep my nursery on lockdown. I usually expect a “treat tax” before anyone can come peek at my pups. Peanut butter or bacon treats are my absolute weakness, so if you come bearing those, we’re already friends.
I’m a neat girl and I like to keep my space spotless. I walk really well on a leash and I love learning new things, so I’m pretty easy to handle. I can be a little picky with other dogs, so a home where introductions are slow and careful would be perfect for me. I also have a high prey drive, so I’m not a good match for homes with cats or other small animals. I like men more than women and little humans aren’t really my thing. My perfect home would be with a chill bachelor or a relaxed couple who just want a loyal companion to hang out with, share some treats, and maybe sneak in a nap on the couch.
I’ve been the best mama to my babies and when the time comes, I’m ready to be someone’s most devoted, loving friend. My pups still need me for a few more weeks, but applications are open now so my forever home can be ready when it’s adoption day. I can’t wait to meet MY person!
