My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Nixon – A Shy Gentleman with Big Feelings & a Soft Side!

Nixon is a shy but sweet kitty with a little bit of a grumpy streak—and honestly, that just adds to his charm. He’s looking for a calm, quiet, indoor-only home with adults only, where he can take things slow and feel safe settling in at his own pace.

This sensitive guy will need extra time to adjust and get to know his new family, but with patience, consistency, and respect for his boundaries, Nixon will reward you with quiet companionship and trust earned the right way.

Nixon’s Ideal Home:
Calm, low-traffic environment
No other animals, please—he prefers having his space
Plenty of comfy hiding spots and cozy nap zones
Cat trees, scratching posts, and window perches for relaxing and observing the world
TONS of toys, especially interactive ones and catnip

Favorite Things:
Treats, wet food, catnip, peaceful naps, and doing things on his schedule.

Important Info:
Nixon has been diagnosed with asthma and is currently on medication for it. His adopters will need to have a veterinarian to continue his care and help him stay comfortable and healthy.

If you’re an experienced, patient cat person who appreciates a kitty with a strong personality and a tender heart underneath, Nixon may be the perfect companion for you.
