Sunrise Rescue is a small, nonprofit, 100% volunteer-run cat rescue with a close-knit group of foster homes. We pull from high-kill shelters, with official pulling rights from five shelters, focusing on the cats most often overlooked — seniors, medical cats, end-of-day kittens given less than 24 hours to live, and the “misfits” no one else chooses.
Our founder has a special soft spot for old, beat-up, and medically fragile cats and a true knack for helping sick cats heal. Many of our rescues were facing euthanasia simply because their owners could no longer care for them.
We believe every cat deserves a second chance at love — and that these cats change the lives of the people who adopt them. Sunrise Rescue is entirely volunteer-run and supported by donations that make every rescue possible.
