My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Granite 🐾

Granite is a sweet little girl with a tender heart and a love for cuddles. She can be a bit shy when she first arrives in a new place, but with a little patience and kindness, she warms up quickly and shows just how affectionate she truly is.

Granite may have a possible chronic URI, so she does best in a calm, low-stress environment where she can feel safe and comfortable. She’s done wonderfully with other cats and was happily housed with a kitty companion for a few weeks, now that they’ve been adopted, it’s Granite’s turn to find her forever home.

This gentle girl would thrive with a family who understands her need for a peaceful space and is excited to give her the love and reassurance she deserves. If you’re looking for a cuddly companion who just needs a little time to settle in, Granite is ready to curl up with you and make herself at home. 🤍

More about this rescue

Founded in 1990, Nuzzles and Co (formerly Friends of Animals Utah) was just a small group of animal lovers lobbying for a new shelter facility. Today, we are a full-fledged animal rescue and rehabilitation organization with an adoption center, dedicated staff and board of trustees, and a 15,000 sq. ft. facility that includes a full veterinary suite, indoor and outdoor training spaces, miles of hiking trails, and a community cat room with an attached "catio."
