My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rice Pudding is a beautiful 7-1/2 year old female Torbie kitty who was surrendered by her owner on January 6, 2026 because her family was unable to afford medical care for their beloved cat.

This sweet little lady has a brown tabby/white/orange short smooth coat in a Torbie pattern, a long ringed tail, and a precious face with green/gold eyes, a brown velvet nose, and long white whiskers.

Her family told us that Rice Pudding is good with children and that she is litterbox trained. Rice Pudding had an injury to her left hind leg when she entered our shelter, but it does not appear to have been broken (though 'pellets' were discovered when she was examined by one of our local veterinarians).

Rice Pudding was given vaccinations, flea treatment and wormer on January 7, 2026. She weighed 8.8 lbs that day. Rice Pudding was given booster vaccines on January 23, 2026.

These photos of Rice Pudding were taken on January 13th and January 23rd 2026.

Rice Pudding is currently being housed in The Jungle Room (one of our HSOV adoptable cat rooms) and is ready to interview candidates to be her new family. We will have her spayed in the near future and will find her another loving home.
