This helps San Diego Humane Society - Oceanside Campus (Cats and Small Animals) with pet care costs.
How this pet arrived:
Sassy was brought in by her previous owner on December 13, 2025.
Why this pet is the one for you:
Sassy is a sophisticated lady who may not have expected to be house-hunting at this stage of her life, but she is ready to find her perfect, predictable home. This charming night owl spends her days snoozing in dark, cozy hideaways and peeking out for treats, light wand-toy play, and gentle brushing (which she absolutely adores!). At night, she'll zoom around, explore everything, and may come up on the bed for attention. While she can be sensitive to loud noises and prefers a quiet household without children or rambunctious dogs, she has blossomed in her foster home and has become more confident over time. Sassy has had litter box issues in the past, especially in more stressful environments, and does best with a dedicated safe space for her first couple of weeks to help her adjust and litter boxes that are cleaned frequently. To ensure her transition is as peaceful as possible, a secure carrier is recommended for her trip to her new home!
At SDHS:
Sassy has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. She is now ready for adoption!
Shy/Fearful Cat: Sassy requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about her.
