I’ll chase the ball, bring it right back, and drop it at your feet so you can throw it again. And again. And again! I could happily play for hours. Even though I’m a bit older, you’d never guess it with all the fun we’ll have together! I’ve still got plenty of pep in my step!
I can be a little selective with male dogs, but I’ve really been enjoying the company of my female friends. I just like what I like! With the right introductions, I’m happy to make new pals.
While I do have an energetic side, I also appreciate some good, quiet downtime. After a great game of fetch, I’d love nothing more than to relax by your side and enjoy a cozy snuggle session.

Before you are eligible to adopt any animal from Border Paws Animal Shelter, you must complete our Adoption Application, and must be approved as an adopter.
To complete an adoption you must:
be a pre-approved adopter
be at least 18 years of age
visit the shelter to meet the animals
provide at least one piece of photo identification with current address
Applications are reviewed within 48 hours. If approved, our Kennel Coordinator will contact you to set up a time to introduce you to any animals that may best suit what you are looking for, or the animal you've requested a visit with.
All dogs, cats, puppies and kittens available for adoption have
been spayed or neutered
received at least one set of vaccines
received a microchip for identification
Note: Animals are adopted to the individual with the most favorable application for the needs of the animal. Border Paws Animal Shelter reserves the right to deny any application received for any reason deemed fit by the organization.
