Their adoption process

We have a simple yet human forward process for adoption. Our primary goal is to connect cats with the best forever home based on family situation and cat needs. First steps may include meeting in person at one of our adoption days. If you reach out for adoption and there is not a current adoption days, we like to start with a phone call in order to get to know you and your situation, so that we can make recommendations for a perfect family companion prior to you completing the application. It is vitally important to us to make sure the adopting family and adoption cats are set up for success.

Adoption steps

  1. Interview
Initial phone or in person conversation.
  2. Submit Application
  3. Approve Application
  4. Meet the Pet
  5. Sign Adoption Contract
  6. Pay Fee
  7. Take the Pet Home

More about this rescue

At Grace & Purrs, we believe every cat, especially those who have known hardship, deserves grace, safety, and a soft place to land. We serve as a compassionate steppingstone for stray, feral, and discarded cats, offering a tranquil environment where they can decompress, heal, and learn to trust again. Our mission is to guide each cat, one by one, through rescue, rehabilitation, and thoughtful adoption, until they find their loving forever family.
Grace & Purrs also believes in educating and connecting community members to spread the word of TNR, importance of Spay/Neuter, Cat Colony Caretaking, and reducing the homeless cat population one by one, until there are none.
