Pink Slip’s story didn’t start the way it should have. She was left behind when her owners moved—but this girl? She’s nothing if not determined.
Sad, yes. Defeated? Absolutely not.
Pink Slip marched right up to house after house, knocking on doors in the only way she knew how, searching for her next home.
Then she found the house.
A kind lady with gentle eyes noticed Pink Slip was hungry and fed her. This is it, Pink Slip thought. So she sat on the porch. And waited. When night came, she tucked herself under the porch. She wasn’t going anywhere.
The lady tried to help—first a heated outdoor house. Nope.
Pink Slip made it very clear: I don’t want outside luxury. I want inside lap privileges.
Then came a heated mat. Still no.
Pink Slip knew exactly what she wanted, even if the message wasn’t landing.
Eventually, Pink Slip was scooped up, placed into a carrier, and brought to us—because this girl was never meant to be an outdoor cat.
She’s enjoyed her time with us, but she’s still holding out for her real dream: a home of her own. One with people who will care for her, let her sit close on the couch, and understand that she loves being with her humans. Pink Slip thrives on connection and just wants to belong.
All she’s asking for is a kind person to love her for the rest of her life. 💗
