Adoption steps
- Submit Application
- Apply online at www.adoptapitrescue.org/apply
- Approve Application
- We perform vet and landlord checks if necessary and will contact you if your application is approved.
- Meet the Pet
- If approved, a volunteer will bring the dog to your home for a meet & greet and home check.
- Sign Adoption Contract
- If the adoption representative and you agree the dog is a good fit for your family, you will complete the adoption contract and pay the fee.

As a network of foster homes, we do not have a "shelter location". We do hold meet and greet events each month at various locations where you can meet our precious pitties. Otherwise, meet and greets are only available with an approved application and home visit.

Our mission is to rescue, re-home and rehabilitate abused, neglected and discarded "bully breed" dogs, with a focus on educating and advocating to ensure all bully breeds have a positive and optimistic future in a breed discriminatory society.
