Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Rivers 💙🐾
Some cats drift into your life — and some make a grand entrance. Rivers was found right outside a vet’s office, as if she was checking herself in and saying, “Excuse me, I’m ready for my forever home now.” Talk about a girl who knows how to take charge of her own story!
True to her name, Rivers goes with the flow — sweet, friendly, and wonderfully social. She loves meeting new people and isn’t shy about making fast friends. Whether she’s exploring a new room, investigating a cozy nook, or following you around to see what adventure comes next, Rivers is always ready to dive in.
She has an adventurous spirit and a warm, affectionate heart. Rivers would thrive in a home that appreciates her curiosity and gives her plenty of opportunities to explore, play, and be part of the action.
If you’re looking for a cat who charted her own course straight to a better life — and is ready to sail right into your heart — Rivers is waiting to sweep you away. 🌊💕

We ask potential adopters to fill out a matchmaker form. When they are ready to adopt an animal and the form and interview process indicates a good match, we have the adopter sign an adoption contract promising that the animal will receive good physical and emotional care. Fees vary and we often have adoption specials. Fees for senior pets are sponsored. Otherwise, dogs are $100, puppies $150 and up, cats are $75, kittens are $95.
