Their adoption process

Once you come and meet a pet for adoption you will read and fill out one of our pre-adoption forms. This application is then reviewed. This takes usually 1-3 business days to hear back about applications. once approved the pet is gotten ready for adoption and adopted..... If you have a landlord we must have their phone number and name. Adopters must be over 21. We also ask if you have other dogs that they meet with the new incoming pet and that you have a vet reference with up to date vaccines. If no other pets owned, then two personal references please. We do not have one set fee. Adoption fees start at 150.00 for senior dogs and 300.00 for dogs/puppies and cats are 110.00.

Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
    1. Foster animals require an application approval before meeting. You can request an application via email.
  2. Approve Application

More about this shelter

We are a no-kill facility established in 1969 to provide temporary shelter for unwanted and abused animals. We match lovable animals with loving forever homes, educating the public on humane responsible care of all animals, and help in reducing the overpopulation with our low-cost spay and neuter program. We also have a volunteer program that we hope to add new volunteers to thru out the year...
